Perspective - Productivity Is For Everyone

You may view productivity as a trick you pull out if you have to get something done. Maybe an exam at school, or an assignment at work. However, with a bit of a perspective shift, you can also view productivity as an essential part of life.

Living a productive life is about making sure that you are getting the most out of your time, which consequently means you are getting the most out of your life. Productivity concepts not only help you at school or work, but they also drive you to make the best use of every moment of your life.

What does it mean to get the most out of your life? That depends. Some people aspire to be astronauts. Others want to retire in a house by the lake. Everyone has a different idea of how to live.

However, we often fail to follow our priorities because we gravitate to comfort and give in to distractions. If we want to live a fulfilling life, we must learn to stop procrastinating and to pursue goals without diversion.

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, throughout used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ‘Wow! What a ride!” — Hunter S. Thompson

So let’s make the most out of life. Let’s be productive.
